It was only a month ago that we told you Cococucumber would be launching their frantic couch co-op adventure title Riverbond to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but now, as E3 2019 gets into full swing, we see that launch happening on Xbox One with a debut on Xbox Game Pass.
Available to purchase and download right now for £20.99, or available for free to the masses of Xbox One gamers who have a valid Xbox Game Pass subscription to their name, Riverbond will see you embarking on a heroic journey of pure fun.
Smashing everything and anything into tiny cubes will be the order of the day with Riverbond as the voxel-based visuals get smashed to smithereens, all as you run through multiple missions, take on many enemies and attempt to become ultimate heroes.
If it’s a fun dungeon crawler you’re after then Rivebond looks set to deliver it, pushing you through memorable worlds full of monsters and loot, letting you choose your own playstyle and working with other via drop-in/drop-out local cooperative capabilities. With a number of melee and ranged weapons available, it’ll be a cinch for you to fight off the incoming, rather quirky, enemies before taking down their towering bosses. Basically put, decimating everything in site will see you right.
Riverbond also comes with some crossover skins too, with the likes of Raz from Psychonauts, The Kid from Bastion, Shovel Knight’s Shovel Knight and Juan Aduacate from Guacamelee! just some of the featured characters.
