Time after time the Rocksmith gods have shown their true colors to deliver us numerous DLC packs from a multitude of bands. But if the girls (and boys) just want to have fun then there is only one pack to really consider – the Cyndi Lauper Song Pack for Rocksmith.

So, getting the puns out of the way and settling down to business we find that once more Rocksmith 2014 Edition and Rocksmith Remastered players are treated to yet more new content, ensuring that their game is kept fresh and rockers around the globe are able to purchase, download, practice, play and master a number of new tunes. And if you haven’t yet guessed, this time around we get thrust back to the mid-1980s to embrace some of the most well known tunes of the time thanks to the Cyndi Lauper back catalogue.

Priced up at ÂŁ6.39, the Cyndi Lauper Song Pack for Rocksmith contains the following tunes:

  • Girls Just Want to Have Fun
  • True Colors
  • Time After Time

Of course, anyone who is a veteran of the Rocksmith world will know that going deep with full song packs isn’t the only way to get access to the latest tunes though and again each of the songs listed above are available to grab individually, with a ÂŁ2.39 price tag attached to each.

In order to have a bit of fun and see your true colors come out, the Cyndi Lauper Song Pack can be picked up by Xbox One and Xbox 360 players from the Xbox Store, whilst those preferring to hammer out the songs on PS3 and PS4 will discover that the PlayStation Store is suitable.

If you wish to know more about Rocksmith 2014 Edition or Rocksmith Remastered than check out our full review of the tutor-led game on Xbox One. The game itself promises to be the fastest way to learn guitar, and our thoughts completely echo that statement. Should the Cyndi Lauper content not be to your liking then there is a whole host of other Rocksmith DLC available too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
