Red Dead Online Collector Sales
Red Dead Online Collector Sales – the latest update!

Life on the frontier can often feel like a grind, but this month in Red Dead Online, Rockstar is making sure every type of outlaw, trader, collector and bounty hunter has a reason to saddle up once again.

Whether you spend your time tracking dangerous criminals, hunting rare animals, running moonshine or searching for hidden treasures, June’s update spreads the rewards across every specialist role in the game. Better still, fast travel fees have been removed for the month, making it easier than ever to roam the vast world of Red Dead Online on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Following last month’s Naturalist-focused event, which heavily rewarded wildlife enthusiasts, June takes a much broader approach by offering bonuses that benefit virtually every player. If you’ve invested time into building up one of the game’s specialist careers, now is the perfect opportunity to cash in.

At A Glance

  • 2X RDO$ and XP on all Bounties
  • 2X RDO$ and XP on Specialist Sales
  • 2X RDO$ and XP on Collector Set Sales
  • 2X Gold on all Daily Challenges
  • Fast Travel fees waived through June 29
  • Weekly Treasure Map rewards for Rank 20 Role specialists
  • New Clovelly-themed clothing rewards available
  • Returning limited-time clothing added back to the catalogue
  • Free Community-Inspired Outfit available

Every Role Gets A Chance To Shine

The biggest takeaway from this month’s update is simple: no matter how you play Red Dead Online, there’s extra money to be made.

Bounty Hunters can earn double RDO$ and XP across Regular, Infamous and Legendary Bounties, making it a lucrative time to bring criminals to justice. Complete any Legendary Bounty before June 29 and you’ll also unlock the Clovelly Shirt. Collectors aren’t left out either. Selling complete Collector Sets to Madam Nazar now delivers double rewards, while digging up any Fossil during the month grants the Clovelly Dropped Suspenders.

Meanwhile, Traders, Moonshiners and Naturalists can all take advantage of double payouts on Specialist Sales. Whether you’re delivering pelts, shifting moonshine or selling animal samples, your efforts will be worth considerably more than usual.

And from there, for many players, Daily Challenges have become something of a routine. This month Rockstar is adding extra incentive by doubling all Gold payouts earned from them. Should you complete every Daily Challenge in a single day you’ll unlock the stylish Goldwing Spurs. Dedicated Traders can also earn the Clovelly Boots by finishing all Trader Daily Challenges.

Treasure Maps For Veteran Specialists

Players who have fully levelled their specialist roles are also receiving some extra recognition throughout June. Each week, Rank 20 specialists in a specific role will receive a Treasure Map reward simply for playing:

  • June 2-8: Moonshiners receive the North Ridgewood Treasure Map
  • June 9-15: Bounty Hunters receive the Civil War Battlefield Treasure Map
  • June 16-22: Collectors receive the O’Creagh’s Run Treasure Map
  • June 23-29: Traders receive the Bluewater Marsh Treasure Map

Free Clothing And Returning Favourites

As is often the case with Red Dead Online monthly events, there are plenty of cosmetic rewards available too.

The Clovelly outfit pieces can be unlocked through various activities, while a selection of limited-time catalogue items returns for June, including the Irwin Coat, Plaid Cap, Gator Hat, Chambliss Corset and Hitched Skirt.

Rockstar has also introduced a free Community-Inspired Outfit created by a member of the Red Dead fashion community, allowing players to pick up a complete military-inspired look at no cost.

A Good Month To Return To The Frontier

Red Dead Online may not receive major expansions, but updates like this show Rockstar still knows how to encourage players back into the saddle. With boosted payouts touching every role, free fast travel, bonus Gold and a healthy collection of cosmetic rewards, June feels like one of the most generous months the game has seen in quite some time.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to dust off your revolver and head back into the wilderness, this might be it.
