Fancy mixing together a rogue-lite anime-styled adventure that deals with hack and slash opportunities as you make your way through a colourful fantasy world? The snappily titled RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC certainly fits the bill.

Available right now to purchase and download on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC, RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore (or RemiLore as we’ll be referring to it from here on out), is the latest title to see the Xbox One digital library increase in numbers, all as we jump into the shoes of young Remi and start messing around with a magical book, Lore.

Priced up at £33.49, RemiLore will see you and your book working through the world of Ragnoah; a world taken over by evil mecha-monsters. From there you’ll need to attempt to help Remi and Lore find a safe way home, taking in a solo story mode with full Japanese voice acting, or a two player cooperative option in which you can drag a friend through.

Throw in upgradable spells, a ton of traits and some beautiful procedurally generated stages that have been based on the four seasons, and you’ll begin to discover how RemiLore is such a tempting proposition. Even more so when you include the NewGame+ mode.

If you wish to give RemiLore on Xbox One a little shot then the Xbox Store will happily provide you with the chance to do so. Get over there right now, spend the £33.49 required and prepare to enjoy a lovely looking rogue-lite fantasy adventure. Of course, if you’re playing on PS4, Nintendo Switch or PC, then your own stores will sort you out.

Game Description:

RemiLore is a “rogue-lite” anime-style adventure set in a colorful fantasy world where players hack-and-slash their way through an army of mechanical monsters using a huge variety of unique melee weapons and devastating magic attacks! Remi, an ordinary high school student, has awakened Lore, a talking book who is a self-proclaimed “master” of magic. Together, they are drawn into the magical world of Ragnoah, which has been overtaken by nefarious mecha-monsters. Remi and Lore must venture together and find their way home, but can Remi really trust the mischievous magic book Lore? Who is the mysterious android girl “Choux” and why does she want to capture Lore? Will Remi ever find her way out of the magical world and return home? Features single-player story mode with full Japanese voice acting, two-player co-op mode, upgradable spells and bonus traits, and procedurally-generated levels in four beautifully rendered worlds, each based on one of the four seasons. Defeating mecha-monsters has its rewards, too – players can uncover loads of unlockables, including alternate costumes, 200+ collectible weapons, New Game+ modes, and more!
