We’ve been keeping out eye on Team17 and Radiation Blue’s sci-fi roguelike base building FPS, Genesis Alpha One for a little while already, but today comes news of a cemented release date!
Announced at the PC Gaming Show at E3, Genesis Alpha One will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come 4th September 2018.
Mixing thrilling roguelike mechanics with a deep ship builder and fast first-person action, Genesis Alpha one will be putting you in the role of an interstellar pioneer, in a future that has been ravaged by war, corrupted regimes and devastating pollution.
It will be up to you as the Captain of a Genesis starship, to journey into uncharted space on the ultimate mission. But in order to do so you’ll need to build and manage a space vessel, explore the galaxy for resources and interesting new lifeforms and experiment with DNA and alien abilities as you clone new crew members. Your goal: Find new homes for humanity’s DNA and save the species from extinction.
