After releasing in Japan back in 1993, boasting sales of more than one million copies, Romancing SaGa 2 became a cult classic.

Now though we can finally experience one of the finest tales in the SaGa series on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch and PC, in which players take on the roles of multiple protagonists alone the long line of imperial succession as you look to maintain the Varennes Empire in the valiant struggle against the Seven Heroes. With a scenario system – a true hallmark to the series – prevalent once more, players can deliver commands and grow their nation with a compelling narrative that provides a strong freedom of choice throughout.

With RPG combat heavily reminiscent of the early Final Fantasy adventures, Romancing SaGa 2 is certainly an interesting arrival for the western RPG fan.

Those interested in taking on this former Japanese exclusive adventure can do so now with a download on Xbox One coming in at the price of £16.97 until the 9th January 2018 with the current 20% saving.
