Up for heading back in time to prove your worth as the kingdom’s greatest ever horse stealer? Modus Games, Jutsu Games and Games Operators have today confirmed that Rustler will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch later in 2021. Are you ready for some Grand Theft Horse action?

A horse-stealing medieval madness-inducer, Rustler has been kicking around on Steam through Early Access for a month or so already, picking up some seriously decent reviews in the process. Now though it’s also preparing to launch on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, giving you the chance to play out proceedings as Guy, a brigand who is utterly determined to win The Grand Tournament and take the hand of the princess in marriage. And he’ll have a mate to help him out in matters.

Rustler will have you stealing horses, terrorising townsfolk, shooting cows into the sky and causing nothing but utter mayhem when it releases later in 2021, all with the express intention of taking down The Grand Tournament and being proven a winner in life.

Accompanying the news that Rustler will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch is a brand new gameplay trailer, one that absolutely showcases everything that will make the horse-stealing Rustler an enticing prospect.

Make sure you give it a watch and let us know your thoughts in the comments or through the usual social media channels – we’d love to hear from you. We will of course follow up with a full release date and any further developmental progress as and when we have it. For now though you can head to the Steam page and get involved in the Early Access option. You’ll be able to pre-order the game from the official Rustler site too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
