Get ready to embrace the fun, take in the humour and show off your creativity as Warner Bros Interactive have today announced Scribblenauts Showdown.
Announced today, Scribblenauts Showdown will see players face off in fast paced multiplayer party experiences as things expand on the usual puzzle orientated action of Scribblenaut games gone by.
Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch from 9th March 2018, Scribblenauts Showdown introduces no less than two brand new party game modes for one to four players to participate in.
A Sandbox mode will be in place to deliver the usual Scribblenauts playground, and this should let either one or two players in on the objective solving action by creating any object they can imagine. With the option to now design your own original Scribblenaut, a huge amount of customisation is available.
Alongside that though is the Showdown mode, catering for up to four players as they face off and imagine their way to victory through card-based strategy and creative skill. “Wordy” mini-games require unleashing the best object or character from the vast Scribblenauts™ dictionary of over thirty thousand words to outsmart an opponent. Action-oriented “Speedy” mini-games reward the player who completes a given challenge first. A board game style map displays players’ progress. With multiple ways to make up ground, every player has a chance to win, which keeps the excitement going until the end!
The Versus mode meanwhile will see two players going head-to-head in more than 25 mini-games that vary with every session. These mini-games can also be enjoyed by the solo player, with the Versus mode allowing continuous play of games by shuffling players into game after game for what is described as non-stop fun.
