The star-studded titles that are Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online have made their way onto a third generation of consoles, despite being nearly a decade old now. That’s right, proud owners of the Xbox Series X|S or PS5 can today head back to Los Santos (or get involved for the first time) on the most powerful of machines.
It’s fair to say the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Editions didn’t go down as well as planned, and no amount of bug fixing will help gloss over the fact those classic games were released in that ‘remastered’ state. When they released though, there may have been an anticipated dip in GTA Online activity. If that was you though, now is the perfect time to jump back in with the weekly offerings for GTA Online.
As we have known for some time now, GTA Online will be rotating activities in and out of circulation. This week ‘seas’ the return of Sea Races and Parachuting, which will be of particular interest to those players still chasing the Numero Uno achievement, as winning these activities once again make it obtainable.
GTA is a sprawling metropolis when it comes to new content and each week sees the bustling world of GTA Online receive yet more new and exciting content, expanding the selection of activities within the city streets of San Andreas. Whilst the usual discounts and bonuses return this week, it’s a new game mode - Arena War - that will catch the eye of most players. If you’re still dabbling within a criminal empire in GTA Online, you’d be foolish not to check it out.
You may well forgive Rockstar if they wanted to place all their focus on the recently released Red Dead Redemption 2, but once more, as the weeks roll round, we see a whole host of interesting features hitting the land of GTA Online - with discounts galore making up the majority of it.
