Black Friday is on the horizon and it looks like the big dogs at Xbox HQ have held back the really good deals for a later time. That said, the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 17th-23rd November 2015 has a fair few titles that you should be taking a look at...and also some that come in with absolutely disgusting prices.
Crimsonland was originally released in 2003 for Windows PC, and since then has gathered a huge fan community. In 2012, the game was submitted to Steam Greenlight, resulting in it becoming a huge hit in the Steam community. In 2014, 10tons decided to remaster it in order to release the game on the next-gen consoles, with PS4 the first to get it. Now it has reached Xbox One gamers...and being a fan of this insane game, I couldn’t be happier.
You’ve got to be a pretty brave soul to decide to throw a twin-stick shooter up on to the Xbox One Games Store. With the might of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions near on forcing the opposition into submission, any new title in the genre needs to come up with something special, or at least something pretty unique.
Thankfully the guys at Eclipse Games have done just that with Tachyon Project.
When you hear the words twin-stick shooter, you will no doubt be immediately reminded of the Geometry Wars series of games. A genre leader from the moment it first appeared on our Xbox’s, it’s been a hit right through to the recent release of Geometry Wars 3: Dimension Evolved.
Anything that even attempts to go up against the might of Geo Wars is going to need to be something pretty special. Is that the case for WE ARE DOOMED or does it hold its own in the market even alongside such a big hitter?
If you can remember back to the good old days, then you'll no doubt remember Geometry Wars being a smash hit on the Xbox Live Arcade. Well, it's time to hope the GW3: Dimensions is just as good!
Never Alone is a game that everyone should be prepared to spend a little time with. It looks beautiful & promises to tell a magical tale. With that in mind, we grabbed the game's Lead Designer and their Lead Cultural Ambassador.
