-

If you’re a current Tekken 7 player, or just one looking on in with excitement, then Season Pass 2 will no doubt be something that is very hotly anticipated. Today, on the eve of its release, Bandai Namco have confirmed the addition of some fan favourite characters.

When the first wave of Season Pass 2 for Tekken 7 releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC from 6th September, we’ll be seeing the new season bring back Lei and Anna as playable characters, with a host of addition costumes, hairstyles and accessories in tow.

Lei Wulong took a break from the police force after his failure to arrest Jin Kazama. It was during this time off that he also became a die-hard fan of TV star Lucky Chloe, an employee of the G Corporation. He enters the fight as he hopes to one day meets his idol, as well as investigate the nefarious and shady G Corporation, which leads him to seek out its leader – Kazuya Mishima.

After the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, Anna’s heart grew tired of endless fighting. Following her retirement, she met and fell in love with an elite soldier from the G Corporation, but on the day of their wedding tragedy occurred. Whilst getting ready for her big day, the sound of gun shots filled the main hall. Anna rushed to the noise, arriving to find her fiancé dead and her sister Nina Williams fleeing the scene. Anna, fuelled by rage, decides to return to the fight once more to track down her sister.

You’ll find that both Anna and Lei will be available as part of the Season Pass 2 or as standalone characters in DLC4 and DLC5 packs. After that, there is also confirmation that future additional content will include four new playable characters, including Negan, the sadistic and evil villain from The Walking Dead.
