Love em or loathe em, Season Passes are here to stay and if you’re looking to keep a game fresh, they provide a brilliant avenue for new content drops. SNK have already proven that the whole Season Pass route is the one they are looking to travel for Samurai Shodown and today we find Season Pass 3 rolling out – and with that comes the first of a number of new characters.
Available to purchase and add in to your Samurai Shodown base game right now is that of Cham Cham, a fighter who will happily bring the smackdown to foes without too much of a care. Cham Cham runs art a price of £4.99 and can be picked up right this second.
But hold on before you go hitting that big purchase button, for there’s possibly a better way of going about things with Samurai Shodown. You see, the Season Pass 3 is also here and that sees Cham Cham join the fight as the first of four new DLC characters who are included. This comes with a bigger price (obviously), running at a cool £16.74, but if you’re a veteran of the Samurai Shodown scene and want to keep finding reason to head back in, this is possibly your best option.
That price is pretty much warranted by the rest of the content that is due further down the line and joining Cham Cham will be Hibiki Takane and then two currently unnamed battlers, all of which will arrive later in 2021. Of course, for any interest here you’ll need the base game of Samurai Shodown, but hey, if you’re reading this we guess you’ve floated that boat long again.
