Halloween is creeping up on us like a monster in the darkness and this year’s big, bad, scary release, The Evil Within 2 has decided to release a little earlier – on another day surrounded by spooky goings-on, Friday 13th October.

In The Evil Within 2, players are once again controlling Sebastian Castellanos, three years after the events of the first game as he tries to save his daughter, who was thought to be dead, from the evil Mobius corporation.

Sebastian once more needs to descend into the nightmarish world of STEM but this time the team at Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have promised a more personal story, putting more effort into the games psychological horror aspects. If you’re a horror fan or looking for your Halloween game for 2017, The Evil Within 2 offers all kinds of scares, and plenty of gore.

If you had pre-ordered the game, you would have also netted yourself The Last Chance Pack which contains a unique handgun, crafting supplies and medical supplies. Essentials then as you traverse this hellish world.

Available to download now priced at £49.99, dare you step into The Evil Within 2? Get over to the Microsoft Store, or the Playstation Network digital download hub/store type thing in order to get it.

We’ll obviously have a review for you soon too!
