It’s hard to believe that September 2020 is upon us. After the strangest of years in which many changes have taken place, we have however had one constant – new free games being delivered to Xbox gamers via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme. And no matter whether they have been good, bad, or just not of interest, there shouldn’t be a soul on this earth who doesn’t want to fill their digital library with freebies. Again the Xbox Games With Gold scheme is delivering the goods, as the free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles being given away throughout September 2020 have now been detailed.
So, four free games in total in are place once more and should you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you’ll discover that the following games will soon be yours…
- Tom Clancy’s The Division – Xbox One – 1st-30th September 2020
- The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 – Xbox One – 16th September – 15th October 2020
- de Blob 2 – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th September 2020
- Armed & Dangerous – Xbox 360 – 16th-31st September 2020
These come on the back of a month in August that was slightly disappointing if truth be told, with just Portal Knights, Override: Mech City Brawl, MX Unleashed and Red Faction II failing to really stir the excitement in Xbox gamers. But just like every month, you’d be crazy to at least not bother downloading the games available for free – if anything as those cold winter months draw in and you’re looking for something to involve yourself with, they’ll fill a little gap.
If you haven’t downloaded those previous games then we highly advise you to get to it right away. There is still a little time left for you to get a free copy of Override: Mech City Brawl downloaded, but the others – Portal Knights and Red Faction II – will be going up in price before you know it.
We’ll be sure to remind you when The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and Armed & Dangerous arrive for free in mid-September, but for now, get all that concentration on nabbing the first freebies in the coming days. Let us know what you think of September’s Games With Gold freebies by posting in the comments. Is this a month that has got you excited? Have you once more been let down by what is in place? Is it all about the power of Xbox Game Pass for you?
