Tridents Tale – coming soon

Shiver me timbers – it’ll soon be time to take in the Trident’s Tale!

3DClouds, the studio behind licensed titles like Transformers: Galactic Trials and Paw Patrol World, is setting a course for uncharted waters with its latest game, Trident’s Tale.

This third-person pirate action-adventure game is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in May 2025.

A Pirate’s Life for You

Trident’s Tale drops players into a vibrant and colourful world filled with magic and adventure. As Ocean, an aspiring buccaneer, you’ll embark on an epic journey across a vast sea, exploring unique islands, delving into shadowy dungeons, and battling fearsome foes.

The game promises a gripping narrative filled with eccentric characters, cunning riddles, and thrilling battles against monsters, rival pirates, and more.

Command Your Ship, Conquer the Seas

Naval combat takes centre stage in Trident’s Tale. Take the helm of your ship and engage in dynamic battles where cannon fire and strategic manoeuvring are key to victory.

Upgrade and customise your vessel to match your playstyle, and prepare to face off against mythical creatures and treacherous weather conditions.

A World of Exploration and Discovery

The world of Trident’s Tale is vast and ripe for exploration. Discover hidden islands, each with its own secrets, treasures, and challenges. Unravel ancient mysteries, solve cunning riddles, and plunder valuable loot to enhance your crew and your ship.

You’ll also be able to recruit a colourful cast of characters to join your pirate crew, each with unique abilities and personalities. Level up your crew members, unlock powerful skills, and create the ultimate pirate team to conquer the challenges that await.

Landlubber No More

When you’re not sailing the high seas, Trident’s Tale offers thrilling land-based combat. Wield your blade, cast magic, and fire your guns in exhilarating encounters against a variety of enemies, including challenging boss battles.

A Labor of Love

Trident’s Tale has been a labour of love for our 60 person studio,” said Franceso Bruschi, CEO of 3DClouds. “Any fans of pirates will have a blast in our game with a compelling 15+ hour story-driven campaign, a massive open world to explore, compelling sword and gun combat, lots of crafting and customisation opportunities and, my personal favourite, naval combat with challenging mythical monsters to vanquish and a fully dynamic weather system.”
