Set sail with the adventures of Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean in 2024

The last time we went on a Cat Quest, it was 2019, as we found ourselves enjoying the adventures of Cat Quest II. But all new adventures await in 2024 as Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean is announced. 

From the teams at The Gentlebros and Kepler Interactive is Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean. Confirmed for release on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, the game should be seen as a return to the most epic of feline adventures. 

A purrfect pirate adventure

Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean will see you taking on the role of a swashbuckling privateer, working your way across a pirate-themed open world. Playing out in the 2.5D, the archipelago you find yourself in is one fraught with danger, swarming with pesky Pi-rats all on the search for the Northern Star. It’s this which is the most mythical of treasures and either the Pi-rats will get it, or you will. 

A solo adventure if you prefer, this Cat Quest can also be taken in with a friend in local co-op. With dungeons, biomes and more all waiting, we’re guessing that the more hands on deck, the better. 

However you take in the adventure, you’ll find the game providing plenty of opportunity. From firing cannonballs to shooting elemental shells, your pirate ship will equip you with all the best tools needed. And then, when back on land you’ll get to master the game’s newly refined combat system as you look to prevail over the Pi-rat hoards scurrying in every corner of the archipelago.

This Cat Quest should allow use of a litany of new weapons and spells to get your paws on, whilst the game’s new weapon swapping mechanic will let you switch between weapons on the fly. Creating claw-some attack combos will be par for the course.
