Sheltered emerges from Game Preview and hits full Xbox One release

Sheltered, the joint project from Unicube and Team17 has made its way out of Xbox Game Preview and is now available in full fat mode.

Available right now for £9.99, Sheltered puts you through the wringer with an emotional survival tale in which you’ll need to protect four family members from harm. Originally an Xbox One Preview title, co-devs Team17 and Unicube are obviously happy with how things have gone, how the game has grown and are ready to throw it out to the masses.

Should you be one of those who jumped in early, then you’ll be finding a title update ready for your next playthrough. If you are only joining the party now it’s in full trim, then you should be safe in the knowledge that any bugs and issues have been ironed out.

We’ll see how that goes with our full review. Keep an eye out for it!

Game Description:

Sheltered is a deep and emotional survival & post-apocalyptic disaster management game. After a global apocalypse, a frightened family find their way to a deserted shelter, where they try to survive. You take on the role of protecting four family members. Their wellbeing and survival is your responsibility. One mistake, one bad decision and a loved one is gone, forever. Sheltered is a world where death is permanent. Combat claustrophobia, radiation and mental exhaustion as you try to turn the cold and cramped Shelter into a home. And as they cling desperately to life, you must send family members from the scant protection of the shelter, outside into the dangerous, desolate wasteland to scavenge for vital supplies. You’ll come across abandoned towns, roaming factions and feral beasts. How you handle the many moral choices you’ll encounter could be the difference between the family surviving or dying. It seems a waste to bury a body when the rest of the family is so hungry.

The Xbox One Games Store is sitting right here waiting patiently for your cash.
