Available right now via the Roboatino (Italian solo dev) and Goblinz Publishing (French publisher) teams is Shogun Showdown. It’s present on the Xbox Store as we type, with play available across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You should also be finding it on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam or GOG).

Having spent more than a year in Steam Early Access, Shogun Showdown is one that many have been looking forward to spending more time with. It brings together multiple ideas, combining them as one, all as the player looks to prove themselves in a roguelike Japanese world.Â
In Shogun Showdown you’ll get to head to the Far East, as you build yourself up, preparing to take on the Shogun. You’ll do this through a series of mechanics, making the most of deckbuilding elements, roguelike play and turn-based combat.
With new skills thrown your way to help aid your progress, this is a game in which every action will count – with timings all-important.Â
