Shoot The Wall Wants You To Keep Pulling The Trigger

2026's Best Games

Shoot The Wall – why not?

Shoot The Wall doesn’t bother with hours of setup. In fact, it comes with a much simpler pitch: there’s a wall in front of you… so why not blast straight through it?

Ridiculous? Absolutely. But sometimes the simplest ideas are the hardest to ignore, and after picking up Very Positive user reviews following its 2025 Steam launch, Shoot The Wall is now making the jump to Xbox Series X|S and PC with Xbox Play Anywhere support.

At A Glance

  • Game: Shoot The Wall
  • Price: ÂŁ4.19
  • Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PC, Play Anywhere
  • Developer: Horsefly Games
  • Publisher: Dolores Entertainment

One Wall. Endless Firepower.

The premise couldn’t be much more straightforward. You’re presented with a giant wall, a basic weapon and one objective – keep shooting until you break through.

Of course, that wouldn’t stay entertaining for long without a little progression. As you destroy more of the obstacle, you’ll unlock stronger weapons and upgrades that let you chew through the seemingly endless barrier at an ever-increasing pace.

The big question, naturally, is what’s waiting on the other side.

An Idle Shooter With A Curious Twist

Shoot The Wall taps into the same satisfying gameplay loop that has made clickers and incremental games so addictive over the years.

Every upgrade makes the next breakthrough arrive a little faster, encouraging you to keep improving your arsenal and pushing deeper into the mystery. It might sound like a joke at first, but its positive reception on Steam suggests there’s more to the concept than meets the eye.

Time To Start Blasting

If you’ve ever looked at a giant wall in a game and wondered what was hidden behind it, Shoot The Wall is built entirely around answering that question.

Shoot The Wall is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC with Xbox Play Anywhere, via an Xbox Store download. Shoot The Wall is priced at ÂŁ4.19.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
