Shoot your way through the complexities of time and space in 41 Hours

-

41 hours

41 Hours promises much. There’s a complex narrative, illustrated cutscenes, strategic combat scenarios, brain-teasing puzzles and extra-terrestrial environments. The question is, do you have the skills that will enable you to adapt, to survive and to ultimately uncover the hardened truth?

Coming from Eastasiasoft, 41 Hours releases on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 to provide gamers with a cinematic first person shooting adventure that will be as intense as you could imagine. See, this one focuses on the complexities of time and space, of advanced alien technology and of a world controller by the most supreme of super-human powers.

Priced at £16.74, 41 Hours places you in the shoes of Ethan, a workaholic who has moved from the science lab and out into the field, in hope of hunting down his long lost wife. A dab hand with a weapon, Ethan seems to have a mysterious female companion with him, one who can utilise their super-human powers when the time calls.

Manipulation of time, utilisation of cloaking devices and making the most of teleportation portals are all needed in 41 Hours. Think Far Cry crossed with Crysis and mixed with Portal and you’ll be nowhere near.

We’re not sure what to make of this one, but will be sure to run the usual full review process in order to get your some thoughts asap. It could be great – it certainly has the promise.

If you wish to take a punt on 41 hours, you’ll find it available from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – fully optimised for that console. It’s also on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
