Smash Windows And Score Big In Indoor Baseball

-

2026's Best Games

Forget perfectly manicured diamonds and official rules. Indoor Baseball is here to flip the sport on its head, launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC with Play Anywhere support for ÂŁ12.49.

This is baseball as it was never meant to be played. Windows are targets, furniture is collateral damage, and every swing comes with a chance to leave the room in pieces.

Baseball, But Indoors… And Slightly Destructive

Indoor Baseball keeps things simple. It is a fast-paced 1v1 experience where timing your swing and reading your opponent is key.

But instead of clean stadiums, you are battling it out in cluttered indoor environments. Every hit has consequences. Smash a ball through a window and you score big, but the chaos that follows can just as easily trip you up. It turns each match into a mix of sport and slapstick destruction.

Quick Matches, Big Reactions

This is very much an arcade-first experience. Controls are straightforward, matches are short, and you are never far from jumping straight back into another round. There is no need to learn complex systems. It is about reacting quickly and enjoying the moment.

The real twist comes from the environments themselves. Objects break, hazards appear, and the layout can quickly shift as matches progress. You are not just playing against your opponent. You are dealing with everything happening around you too.

A Familiar Idea With Mixed History

Indoor Baseball is not the first time Snow Day Software have taken sports indoors. We previously reviewed Indoor Kickball, giving it a 2.5/5 and noting: “Indoor Kickball provides some brief amusement, but the gimmick soon wears off, all thanks to the underwhelming execution.”

That makes Indoor Baseball an interesting follow-up. The core idea remains similar, but the question now is whether this new take can deliver more staying power and variety.

Step Up, Swing Hard

Indoor Baseball (downloadable from the Xbox Store) knows exactly what it is aiming for. It is fast, simple and built around moments of chaos that make each match memorable.

Whether you are chasing clean hits or just trying to smash everything in sight, this is a sports game that refuses to take itself too seriously. Just maybe do not try this version of baseball at home.
