Rebellion, the indie developer and publisher behind the Sniper Elite series have today confirmed that the next game in the multi million selling franchise will be with us later in 2016!
Arriving on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Sniper Elite 4 will be set in the immediate aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, continuing the series’ World War Two heritage by transporting players to the beautiful and diverse environments of Italy in 1943. Playing as elite marksman, Karl Fairburne, you’ll need to fight alongside men and women of the Italian Resistance, helping free the country from Fascism, defeating a new terrifying threat in the process. If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe. Nooooooo!
With full 1080p visuals, it will be the first game in the series to feature a true new gen experience, with locales from the sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries all coming to life.
