Sniper Elite Resistance Striking Range
Sniper Elite Resistance – it’s Striking Range time

Continue the fight in occupied France as Rebellion has launched fresh content for its tense WWII shooter, Sniper Elite: Resistance, in both paid and free form.

Available now is the paid Striking Range Mission, Weapons and Skins Pack, adding a new slice of story content, alongside a completely FREE Commando Weapon and Skin Pack for all players.

This new content is available across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 Pro, PS5, PS4, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).

New Mission & Arsenal: Striking Range Pack

Priced at ÂŁ13.24, the Striking Range pack expands the main campaign and bolsters Harry Hawker’s armoury:

  • New Campaign Mission: Infiltrate a heavily guarded facility to prevent a devastating V1 rocket barrage aimed at the Allied invasion fleet. Your mission also involves a covert rescue of the captured Resistance operative, Carillon, before sabotaging the launch site permanently.
  • New Weapons:SVT-40 Rifle: A Soviet semi-automatic battle rifle known for its light design and reliable performance.
  • Mars Automatic Pistol: Once billed as the world’s most powerful handgun, adding significant close-quarters stopping power.
  • New Cosmetics:Resistance Fighter Character Skin (Harry)
  • Ghillie Suit Elite Character Skin (Harry)
  • Ghillie Rifle Wrap Elite weapon skin

Free Gear for All: Commando Pack

Rebellion is also giving all Sniper Elite: Resistance players some new tools for free with the Commando Weapon and Skin Pack:

  • D.L. Carbine Rifle: This suppressed rifle offers extremely quiet takedowns, making it a favourite among Allied Commandos for covert operations.
  • Covert Rifle Wrap: Enhance your stealth capabilities further with this new weapon skin, perfect for blending into the shadows.

Grab this free pack from your platform’s store today. We will point you towards the Xbox Store for obvious reasons.

Return to Occupied France (on Game Pass!)

Sniper Elite: Resistance shifts the focus from Karl Fairburne to SOE agent Harry Hawker, telling a standalone story running parallel to Sniper Elite 5.

Set deep within occupied France, Harry must work with the Resistance to stop the Nazis from deploying a new Wunderwaffe capable of changing the war’s outcome.

Crucially for subscribers, the base game of Sniper Elite: Resistance is available to play right now via Game Pass on Xbox and PC. You can also play on PlayStation.

While our 3.5/5 review noted that “Sniper Elite: Resistance isn’t the most polished game ever, nor the most original“, we also found that “Sniping is never not fun… when any mission goes sideways and loud, there is a real tension… it does the job it sets out to do.

This new content drop offers more of that core sniping and stealth action. Game Pass members can instantly bolster their arsenal with the free Commando pack, while those invested in Harry’s story can expand the campaign with the Striking Range mission. Check out the new content today.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
