Created by a one man team, before being pushed out to consoles with the help of Ratalaika Games, Bird Game + is something that is instantly intriguing. Running with a simple black and white 3D artstyle, and seeing the world before you drawing itself as you progress, this is a game that most definitely plays on basic, uncomplicated, ideas.
Priced up at £4.99 – with an early access launch discount dropping that to £3.99 – Bird Game + by Bryan Tabor is now on Xbox One, alongside PS4 and PS Vita, with a Nintendo Switch launch happening in the coming days. If you decide to soar into this adventure you’ll find yourself attempting to guide a majestic bird through a highly detailed world, dodging obstacles and hostile enemies, before going up against some of the most punishing bosses.
There are just 3 main levels in all, but each of these will see you thrust headlong into a boss fight, as the relaxing vibes give way to a more challenging test. Further to that, an endless mode will allow you to fly seamlessly through this wonderful landscape without a care in the world.
Should you wish to give Bird Game + a go, the Xbox Store will happily provide you with the download. Those on PS4, PS Vita or Nintendo Switch should head to their own stores.
