The Solus Project is still in Xbox One Game Preview form but that means updates are a nice simple process. Grip Digital and Teotl Studios have announced a huge expansion – The Highpoint Expansion!
Whilst Steam users will be able to grab the expansion immediately, Xbox One players will need to wait until Friday 15th April for the privilege.
A huge, new and totally free piece of content, The Highpoint Expansion will see the player exploring the vertical Highpoint island. Onwards and upwards (quite literally) is the main draw but the island will also come with a massive cave level. With more then three hours worth of story and gameplay, new acid lakes, strange flying orbs and a monstrous creature to content with, if you’re a Solus Project player, then you should go check it out – if only for the promise of a massive windmill! You should also get a deeper understanding of the world encased in The Solus Project, giving the opportunity to understand a bit more about the planet.
Alongside the new content a large new patch is included fixing known bugs and balancing dozens of existing features.
The Solus Project will release at some point in May 2016, but if you are still debating whether its worth getting involved or not, why not check out our full hands-on preview.
