It’s one of the most hotly anticipated indie titles of the year, and today the gem that is Sparklite has gone and got itself a fully confirmed release date.
Coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on November 14th 2019, Sparklite from Merge Games and Red Blue Games promises to be a Zelda-inspired adventure that you won’t want to miss, delivering immersive top-down adventuring to the masses.
After being shown off at Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, and having previous presence at Gamescom and PAX, a whole ton of gamers have already been witness to what is found within, just now the diverse procedurally generated world in which we’ll be taking down titans of the mining industry is set to hit a global audience.
And when it does release, expect to be found solving puzzles, and defeating a range of different bosses and enemies, as Sparklite attempts to combine elements of classic adventure titles like The Legend of Zelda alongside a unique blend of approachable roguelike elements. If you’re after an ever-changing world and wish to take the delightful Ada on a journey across an assortment of different biomes in order to save Geodia, then Sparklite is the game for you.
Key features of Sparklite include:
- Stunning visuals – Intricate pixel art aesthetic inspired by retro classics
- Original soundtrack – GameCube inspired soundtrack by composer Dale North (Wizard of Legend)
- Explore the world of Sparklite – Five beautiful, procedurally generated biomes
- Invent your arsenal – Invent gadgets to solve puzzles and defeat enemies
