An ambitious cinematic adventure in which bone-breaking brawls will be front and centre, Tenet of the Spark has been unveiled. But it won’t be here until late 2026!
Yep, we’re looking at a good couple of years before Tenet of the Spark from ROAR Games starts to make a mark on the gaming scene. And whilst that may seem a long way off, grabbing a watch of the trailer right now should set you up for this cinematic adventure.
A stunning debut title
The debut title from ROAR Games, Tenet of the Spark will be launching on PC and current-gen consoles, with a late 2026 release the team’s target. Full console options will be revealed nearer launch, mostly as god knows what we’ll be playing on in 2026, but there are signs that this is a game to keep an eye on, especially if it hits Xbox Series X.Â
Tenet of the Spark is a single-player action adventure about Will. Will is a boxer standing up to the street gangs and the ghosts of his past. Aiding him on his dangerous journey are the spirits of his ancestors, whose power he can channel as his consciousness slips back through the ages. What this means is you’ll be looking to hop between eras to gain an edge in battle and you can see how that works by taking in the new gameplay reveal trailer below:
