Grab your jellyfish net and prepare to Battle for Bikini Bottom once more – SpongeBob is back and today THQ Nordic have confirmed that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will be hitting Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in June 2020.
A rebooted, rehydrated version of the iconic Battle for Bikini Bottom, the next SpongeBob SquarePants experience will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC come June 23rd 2020, and not only will it be coming in digital form, but a glorious Shiny Edition will deliver a whole host of great extras.
With pre-orders kicking off right now on Xbox One (£22.49 on the Xbox Store) and PC, on Nintendo Switch come April 21st and then on PS4 at a later date, SpongeBob fans should be getting their cash in early, well ahead of the June 23rd release date, ensuring they have much to look forward to when Rehydrated arrives.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated sees the cult classic hit back, faithfully remade in spongetastic splendour. It is here where you’ll get the chance to play as SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy and show the evil Plankton that crime pays even less than Mr. Krabs. Want to save Bikini Bottom from lots of rampant robots with your mighty bubbles? Of course you do! Want to underpants bungee jump? Why wouldn’t you! Want to join forces in a brand new multiplayer mode? The battle is on!
