That’s the challenge presented by Tropical Jurassic Discovery, a new spot-the-difference puzzle game that has launched on Xbox. Taking players to a colourful prehistoric paradise, the game asks you to study dinosaur-filled scenes and uncover the subtle changes hiding in plain sight.

A Prehistoric Eye For Detail
Tropical Jurassic Discovery is all about observation. Each level presents two nearly identical tropical scenes, filled with dinosaurs and island scenery, with players tasked with finding the differences between them.
That could mean spotting a missing detail, noticing something that has moved, or picking out a small visual change that isn’t immediately obvious. It’s a simple idea, but one that should appeal to anyone who enjoys taking their time and putting their observation skills to the test.
Play At Your Own Pace Or Race The Clock
There are two ways to tackle the puzzles too. Casual Mode lets you take your time and search through each scene without the pressure, while Challenge Mode is there for those who want a little more urgency.
Jolly Lobster Interactive has released other spot-the-difference games previously, games like Shop & Spot Avenue, as well as Ocean Oddities, so those already familiar with the developer’s puzzle offerings will know roughly what to expect – although this time around, the setting has gone distinctly prehistoric.
With colourful tropical environments, dinosaurs roaming the scenery and plenty of subtle differences waiting to be found, Tropical Jurassic Discovery is available now for £3.29 from the Xbox Store, available in three versions for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Windows PC.
