We’re big fans of Serious Sam here at TheXboxHub. The anything but “serious” games have delighted us for 20 years or so. And it would seem there is more to come. A new chapter for Serious Sam 4 has arrived, but as a stand-alone release. Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is out today on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Sam Stone find himself deep in the wilds of Russia on the hunt for General Brand. Through five levels packed with aliens to shoot, Easter Eggs to find and one-liners to quip, guide Sam and his serious arsenal through Siberia. It won’t just be snow covered environments either: there will be abandoned villages, ghost towns and creepy forests all with a trick or two up their sleeve.
Sam will also encounter a band of outcasts to help him on his journey. They can offer him refuge and new firepower in exchange for completing side-quests. The new firepower will come in handy as Siberia will feature some of the most intimidating creatures in the series yet.
