The Outer Rim just got a little more enticing (and dangerous!) for scoundrel Kay Vess as a host of new downloadable content for Star Wars Outlaws has arrived.
Of course, this is all headlined by the story expansion, A Pirate’s Fortune. But kicking around alongside this new adventure, are two cosmetic bundles – the Naboo Nobility Bundle and the Desert Nomad Bundle – available to help you customise your journey.
This fresh wave of content is available now for players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
A Pirate’s Fortune Awaits Kay Vess
Priced at £12.99, the Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune DLC invites players to dive into an all-new narrative.
Kay Vess’s growing reputation as the ‘Trailblazer’ catches the attention of none other than the veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka. He’s looking to settle some old scores with a ruthless pirate gang, and Kay (along with Nix, of course) gets pulled into the fray.
This expansion promises an all-new story to experience, fresh quests to undertake and new areas to discover and explore.
As a reminder, Star Wars Outlaws is the first-ever open-world Star Wars action-adventure game, allowing you to explore distinct locations across the galaxy, both iconic and new. You play as the cunning Kay Vess, fighting, stealing, and outwitting your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you seek freedom and the means to start a new life.
This DLC is also included for owners of the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass.
Style Your Scoundrel: New Cosmetic Bundles
If you’re looking to change up Kay and Nix’s appearance, or give your speeder and Trailblazer ship a new lick of paint, two new cosmetic bundles have also landed, each priced at £7.99:
- Naboo Nobility Bundle (£7.99): Pay homage to the royalty of an iconic era with this pack. It includes elite-looking cosmetics for Kay and Nix, as well as for your blaster, speeder, and the Trailblazer.
- Desert Nomad Bundle (£7.99): Embrace the hardy lifestyle of desert planet dwellers. This bundle provides cosmetics for Kay, Nix, your speeder, and the Trailblazer, all themed around materials used by locals to survive harsh arid environments.
Expanding the Outer Rim
This new content drop adds more for players to see and do in the expansive Star Wars galaxy crafted by Ubisoft.
In our 4/5 review of the base game, we said: “If you are looking for a completely different Star Wars experience, one that plays with a very good open-world, then Star Wars Outlaws should be taken in. I’ve liked playing as a thief and scoundrel, taking in and exploring the different worlds and enjoying the sheer amount of different things on offer… Star Wars Outlaws certainly makes a run for being the best of all the Star Wars games, helped by the visuals, story, and sheer fun it allows.“
The A Pirate’s Fortune story expansion looks to build on that fun with a new narrative arc, while the cosmetic bundles offer more ways to personalise your own scoundrel’s journey.
Whether you’re diving into a new adventure with Hondo Ohnaka or just want to give Kay and Nix a fresh look, the latest DLC for Star Wars Outlaws is available now. Hit the links above and you can get some new content downloaded. Just remember, you need the base game, whether that be on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 or PC.
