Independence Day Festive Finds – out now on Xbox

Fireworks, family barbecues, parades and plenty of red, white and blue – Independence Day Festive Finds has arrived on Xbox, bringing a patriotic twist to the ever-popular spot-the-difference formula.

Launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC with three separate versions available, the latest puzzle game from Jolly Lobster Interactive is priced at ÂŁ3.29, inviting players to put their powers of observation to the test across a collection of festive Fourth of July scenes.

Can You Spot Every Difference?

The concept is one that puzzle fans will recognise immediately, but this time everything is wrapped in a distinctly Independence Day celebration.

Each scene is packed with colourful holiday moments, from spectacular fireworks displays and bustling parades to backyard cookouts and star-spangled celebrations. At first glance, the paired images appear identical, but look a little closer and subtle differences begin to reveal themselves. Finding them all is easier said than done.

Whether it’s a missing decoration, an altered object or a tiny detail tucked away in the background, every level rewards careful observation rather than quick reactions.

Play Your Way

Jolly Lobster has also included a couple of different ways to tackle each puzzle.

If you enjoy a little pressure, the timed mode encourages you to race against the clock as you hunt for every hidden difference. Prefer a more leisurely pace? A relaxing mode removes the time limit altogether, letting you search each image at your own speed.

It’s the sort of game that’s easy to dip into for a few minutes.

Another Familiar Puzzle From Jolly Lobster

If the developer’s name rings a bell, there’s a good reason.

Jolly Lobster Interactive has quietly built up a catalogue of accessible hidden object and spot-the-difference games on Xbox. Independence Day Festive Finds follows that familiar formula, swapping the oceans and Easter for America’s biggest summer celebration.

For players who have enjoyed those previous releases, this latest outing should feel comfortably familiar while offering a fresh collection of themed artwork to explore.

A Relaxing Way To Celebrate

Not every game needs explosions, open worlds or hundred-hour campaigns. Sometimes all you need is a colourful collection of puzzles that let you slow down for a while.

That’s exactly what Independence Day Festive Finds aims to deliver. Whether you’re celebrating the Fourth of July or simply fancy another casual puzzle game to add to your Xbox library, it’s an inexpensive way to spend an afternoon sharpening your eye for detail.

Independence Day Festive Finds is available now on the Xbox Store. You’ve got a choice between an Xbox Series X|S optimised edition, one that plays on Xbox One, or a Windows PC drop. Each one is priced at ÂŁ3.29.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
