We’re big fans of the brand, but now SteelSeries is marking its 25th anniversary in style, pulling back the curtain on a new flagship headset designed to do a bit of everything. Meet the Arctis Nova Pro Omni.
The Pro Omni is a high-end, multi-system headset that aims to deliver audiophile-grade sound across console (Xbox and PlayStation), PC, and mobile in one seamless package.
Launching today, the Nova Pro Omni arrives with a clear message: gaming headsets aren’t just for one platform anymore.

One Headset, Multiple Worlds
The standout feature is the flexibility. SteelSeries is pushing what it calls OmniPlay, allowing players to connect multiple devices at once and blend audio sources together in real time. That means jumping between console, PC, and mobile without constantly reconnecting cables or switching headsets.
Up to five devices can be paired simultaneously, with four audio streams mixed together. It’s a clear nod to how people actually game now. We’ve got Discord on the phone, Xbox and PlayStation games firing away on the TV, and some music in the background. With it all happening at once.
Hi-Res Audio Meets Competitive Edge
Under the hood, the Nova Pro Omni is built around Hi-Res Wireless Certified audio, delivering 96kHz / 24-bit sound via both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth. SteelSeries has fitted custom 40mm neodymium drivers with an extended frequency range, aiming to capture both the subtle details and the bigger, punchier moments.
As you would expect, Active Noise Cancellation plays a big role too, designed to block out distractions and keep the focus on what’s happening in-game. SteelSeries claims improved processing helps cut more background noise than previous models, while the new ClearCast Pro microphone uses AI-powered noise rejection to keep voice chat crisp and clear.
Control, Customisation, And Endless Battery
Beyond sound, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is clearly built with control in mind. It allows the opportunity to tweak EQ settings, balance multiple audio sources, and adjust microphone levels on the fly using the SteelSeries app ecosystem. There’s even an onboard OLED display and control dial for quick adjustments without diving into menus, which should prove handy mid-match, and is something we saw in the Nova Elite previously.
Battery life is another major talking point. The Infinite Power System uses dual swappable batteries, meaning you can keep one charging while the other is in use. No longer will you have to worry about stopping play to plug in.
A Premium Push Into Luxury Gaming Audio
And make no mistake, SteelSeries isn’t being subtle about its ambitions. Whilst they have always been a brand to go big, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is positioned firmly at the top end of the market, both in features and price. At £349.99 in the UK, it’s competing with the very best gaming headsets available, like the Audeze Maxwell 2, RIG R8 Pro and Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II.
But it’s also trying to redefine what a gaming headset can be. This isn’t just about better footsteps or clearer gunfire – it’s about creating a single audio hub for everything you do, across every device you own. No matter where you play, SteelSeries have you covered.
The Arctis Nova Pro Omni is available now via SteelSeries and selected retailers, launching in Midnight Blue, White, and Graphite colour options. Let us know what colour you’ll be purchasing…
