Originally released on Steam, where it has picked up positive feedback from the small number of players who have tried it, Steve Is Alone now gives Xbox players the chance to help Steve through a journey that is as much about making friends as it is about getting from one side of a level to the other.

A Retro Platformer With A Friendly Goal
At its heart, Steve Is Alone is a straightforward 2D platformer. You’ll be running, jumping and avoiding whatever the game decides to put in your way, with powerups also available to help Steve make progress.
The retro-inspired presentation delivers a distinctly old-school feel, while the focus on accessible platforming means it isn’t aimed exclusively at players who grew up mastering difficult pixel-perfect challenges.

120+ Levels To Get Through
There is a fair amount of platforming packed into the adventure, with 12 worlds and more than 120 levels to tackle. Those stages introduce different obstacles and challenges as you progress, so while the basic idea remains familiar, Steve’s journey isn’t simply a case of repeating the same few jumps over and over again.
There are also two movement mechanics and eight different obstacles to contend with as well, giving the game a few extra tricks to throw at you as you work through its collection of stages.
And, of course, there is that other important objective. See, whilst Steve Is Alone gives away the starting situation, the ultimate goal is a little more cheerful than the title might suggest.
