Harry Potter never had the same problems that the apprentice wizard brothers of Arcan and Zeph have to deal with – if only because Harry never found himself needing to sacrifice his brothers on a regular basis. But that’s what is happening here in REZ PLZ on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, with the need to kill in order to progress.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, REZ PLZ follows the lives of two young wizard bros as they attempt to fight off the force of the Dark Arcanum, working their way through multiple puzzling stages in the process. The difference to many other puzzle platformers though is that in order to see any form of success, the brothers will have to die, over and over again, all in order to ensure a safe path for his sibling. Thankfully the presence of a Resurrection Scroll should see them come back unharmed. At least for a time.
Priced at £12.49 with a little launch discount in place for those purchasing close to launch day, REZ PLZ works for bother single players (with those easily switching between the brothers), and for local multiplayer friends intent on finding progress through cooperative action. Throw in the inclusion of timed stages for the speedrunners out there, and multiple spells and powers to enjoy, and there is much to love about this new pixelated adventure. Oh, and you can also drop an extra challenge via the unlockable Gauntlet stages too.
