The worlds of devastating combos and chart-topping K-pop have spectacularly collided.
Capcom has officially launched the Street Fighter 6 x æspa Special Collab, a brand-new crossover event that brings the futuristic style of the global phenomenon K-pop group to the streets.
The new content is live right now, July 4th, on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
The Perfect Fighting Game Gets a K-Pop Glow-Up
This exciting and unexpected collaboration introduces a new outfit for Juri, a brand-new virtual commentator, a themed Battle Hub, and a host of special items for players to unlock for a limited time.
When Street Fighter 6 launched, it redefined what a modern fighting game could be. In our 5/5 review, we were blown away, calling it a “bursting-at-the-seams package” and concluding that “This is the perfect fighting game.“
This new collaboration is a testament to Capcom’s commitment to keeping that perfect experience fresh and exciting, blending the game’s world-class fighting mechanics with the cutting-edge aesthetic of one of the world’s biggest music groups.
What’s in the æspa Collaboration?
This æspa collaboration limited-time event is packed with new content for both K-pop fans and Street Fighter veterans to enjoy.
- A New Look for Juri – The iconic fighter Juri receives a stunning new look with Juri: Outfit 4 feat. æspa. This new costume is inspired by the concepts and motifs from æspa’s past albums and is available for purchase in the in-game shop for 350 Fighter Coins. This outfit will be available for one year.
- A New Voice in the Booth: nævis – The world of æspa is brought directly into the game with the introduction of nævis as a brand-new real-time commentator. The popular virtual artist and sidekick to the group is the first-ever virtual artist to join the commentator roster and will be available in Korean, Japanese, and English.
- Free Collab Items and a Themed Battle Hub – For a limited time, the in-game Battle Hub will be completely redecorated with an æspa theme. All players who log in during the event period (from July 4th to August 5th) will receive a free collaboration item. Furthermore, special collaborative photo frames, device backgrounds, and titles can be obtained by accessing the “æspa x Street Fighter 6 Collaboration News” in-game.
Looking Ahead: The Future of Street Fighter 6
While this collaboration is the focus for now, Capcom also has its sights set on the future. The Year 3 characters are joining the roster soon, with the legendary Sagat arriving on August 5th. He will be followed by C. Viper in Autumn 2025, Alex in Early Spring 2026, and Ingrid in Late Spring 2026.
The stage is set and the battle is about to begin, now with a fresh K-pop beat. Whether you’re a long-time fight fan or a dedicated MY, this is a crossover event you won’t want to miss.
The collaboration is live now, so it’s time to hit the Battle Hub and see what all the noise is about.
