Curve Digital are fast becoming renowned for publishing some cracking little indie titles. Today, they’ve delivered Pewter Games’ The Little Acre to Xbox One – and trust us when we say that you won’t want to miss this one.

Available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, The Little Acre tells the story of Aiden, his daughter Lilly, a 1950’s Ireland and a strange new world. With gorgeous hand drawn animation, a stunningly beautiful musical score and some of the best voice acting you’re going to find, The Little Acre is well worth a playthrough.

You’ll be able to feast your eyes upon on our full review as soon as the embargo lifts, but if you’ve been promising yourself that you’ll end 2016 on a high, the least you can do is jump over to the Xbox Games Store (or the PS4 equivalent) and get a purchase of The Little Acre in asap. The ÂŁ10.39 – or currently discounted ÂŁ8.83 price, looks to be great.

Until that review drops, make sure you check out our hands-on preview.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
