Suit up with the free-to-play GUNDAM EVOLUTION on Xbox and PlayStation

You’ve probably seen GUNDAM EVOLUTION pulling the shots over on PC already, but now it’s time for Xbox and PlayStation players to get in on the action too. 

A free-to-play hero shooter (yep, another one!), GUNDAM EVOLUTION will have you teaming up with mates and strangers as you look to partake in some serious shooting. Playing out across 6v6 PvP combat modes, it’s in GUNDAM EVOLUTION where you’ll get the chance to jump into some of the most famous mobile suits from the Gundam universe. And if this one doesn’t ‘suit’ you, then perhaps SD Gundam Battle Alliance will.

A starting roster of twelve will be in place today, as GUNDAM EVOLUTION releases on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5, whilst more become unlocked as you play. 

And play you will, as GUNDAM EVOLUTION brings forth three objective-based game modes – Point Capture, Domination and Destruction. Expect to find a series of various challenges set within each of those, as you craft and execute the finest of strategic calls. 

Each playable unit in GUNDAM EVOLUTION possesses its own unique combination of offensive, defensive and/or supportive skills capable of swinging the tides of battle. The starting roster of playable characters includes the classic RX-78-2 GUNDAM and the iconic ASW-G-08 GUNDAM BARBATOS. From there, additional mobile suits and customizable items can be unlocked in two ways: Capital Points (CP), which are accumulated in-game through gameplay, or EVO Coins, which will be available for real-world purchase.

Should you be a Gundam fan, we’re pretty sure that dropping into the world GUNDAM EVOLUTION will be a bit of a no-brainer. It’s optimised for Series X|S consoles too, and so if you’re looking to play on Xbox One or those newer consoles, hit up the Xbox Store and take home a download.
