There are two ways you can go about creating the very best space shooter.
You can go all out, drop in every technological advancement imaginable, include super unique mechanics, a banging soundtrack and stunning visuals before charging the earth for the privilege. Or you can go cheap and cheerful, providing a fun experience at a super low price.
M.A.C.E. Space Shooter certainly looks to fit the latter category.
Available today on Xbox One, M.A.C.E can be obtained from the Xbox Store for a measly £4.19 – a price which seems remarkable when you compare it to many other vertically scrolling shooters.
A most classic of 2D shooters, M.A.C.E. Space Shooter will have you piloting a small spaceship across the galaxy as you take in three different worlds, each with 6 scrolling levels and a decent variety of enemies. Your task will be to destroy them (obviously) and with a number of weapons included in your arsenal, and even more hidden away for collecting, destruction and chaos shouldn’t be an issue.
