Surreal atmospheric adventure hits Xbox One, PS4 and Switch with the launch of Mosaic

It promises to send you off to a wickedly cold world; one that is as surreal as it is atmospheric. And today that journey begins to unfold with the launch of Mosaic on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Previously having released on PC and iOS, Mosaic now brings its weirdness to console, with release on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch signifying the opportunity for us to head into a new dark world that deals with hardcore themes such as corporate culture, urban isolation and our warped relationship with modern tech inspired by the monotony of our daily routines and distractions. Sounds fun, eh?

Coming from the teams at Raw Fury and Krillbite Studio, Mosaic will see you becoming a cog in the machine – much like in real-life – as you work your way through a repetitive existence found in a cold, crowded city, living out the tedium of everyday life. At least that is, until something rather wonderful occurs.

With Krillbite previously having worked wonders with Among the Sleep, this new adventure is certainly a change in pace for the developers, yet it’s most definitely one that comes with a huge appeal – particularly if you’re one who just can’t get enough of the dark and surreal.

A price of £16.74 will see you able to get access to the standard edition of Mosaic on Xbox One, and this is all you really need in order to bear witness to what is found within, however should you be taken back by the brilliance of this experience then there are other options – namely in the way of the 1% Edition. Coming in at just a few pence more, this brings together the base game with the 1% DLC (also available separately for £1.69), and that in itself should help improve the quality of your life. This 1% option delivers a new Executive Tie, a Deluxe Phone Cover, an Ad-Delayer, and a Premium Love Account – all things that would go down just as well in the real-world as that of the virtual life.

However you decide to enjoy Mosaic doesn’t really matter. Just get over to the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store or the Nintendo eShop right now and pick up your copy. And keep an eye out for our full review of Mosaic on Xbox One too – it’s coming real soon.

Edit: Our review of Mosaic on Xbox One is live. Give it a read.

Game Description:

You live a monotonous and repetitive lonely life in a cold overpopulated ever-expanding city. The phone is distracting you with meaningless notifications as you move through anonymous crowds on your way to work at a megacorporation where yet another long day with overtime awaits. You have no real sense of meaning – until one crucial day, when strange things start to happen on your commute to work and everything changes. Mosaic is a dark surrealistic and atmospheric adventure game about urban isolation and the dread of being a piece in a giant machinery you can’t understand. From the creators of Among the Sleep, Krillbite Studio is going from horrors of childhood to the dreadful lonely adult life.
