2026's Best Games

World War III may be over but the mess left behind means that life is not a fun one. Dare you leave the confines of your fancy penthouse at the Skyhill hotel and venture out into the unknown?

Skyhill is available right now on Xbox One, promising some fancy visuals and a roguelike RPG experience that ensures your time with the game will feel forever fresh as the minutes tick by.

Daring to leave the Skyhill hotel and into a world full of mutants may not be the best decision you’ve ever made, but it’s one of necessity as you head on out in search of food and shelter in the aftermath of the biggest war the world has ever seen. With danger lurking at every single corner, the overriding fear of death is a real one – one in which nothing other than survival really matters.

Randomly generated maps will play host to your time in Skyhill and these will see you gaining experience, crafting the very best weapons and utilising objects in order to ensure that your life is kept moving forward. Slack off and you can expect a whole world of pain as the monstrosities caused by way try to overcome you.

Delivered with a ÂŁ15.99 price tag, if you are down for a bit of roguelike RPG wandering then Skyhill looks set for more than a second glance. Our upcoming review will be able to drill the finer details into your mind, but in the meantime the Xbox Store will happily give up a download.

Are you ready to leave the Skyhill hotel?

Game Description:

World War III was one cruel tragedy, at least for the others. You seemed to have a quite nice time, hidden in your fancy penthouse at the Skyhill Hotel… Till the impact of a bio-weapon blew away the life you once knew. Now there are mutants everywhere, and they’re eager to rip you to shreds with their vicious claws. But they aren’t your only problem: Your supplies are running out. You have to leave your luxurious penthouse and search for food. Walking through the skyscraper means going through hell. There is danger around every corner and death is a steady companion. But seriously, how would someone prepare for something like this? It doesn’t matter anymore. Nothing matters but survival. And time is running out. • Roguelike RPG gameplay in an apocalyptic survival setting • Feels fresh every session – randomly generated maps • Gain experience, craft weapons and look for useful objects
