Let’s get it clear, right off the bat: Primal Survivors is another to add to the long list of Vampire Survivors clones, however, more of the addictive wave-based combat can’t be a bad thing.
Coming to you from developer Old School Vibes and Afil Games, this time around we are fighting against a range of wacky monsters, all intent on taking us down.

Now available on Xbox and PlayStation – the first foray onto consoles for a game that has been PC-exclusive since launching in May 2023 – Primal Survivors makes customisation of your weapons at the heart of its gameplay.
Not only are there 12 different weapons and 12 classes, each with their own abilities, but most importantly a whopping 50 Skill Sets can be used, each with their own custom load-out of abilities. Over time, your heroes will also improve between runs, with 25 permanent upgrades available.
Ultimately, no two runs will be the same, as you seek to use different weapons and abilities.
Players will also be treated to three unique bosses to take on, as well as two different game modes to try and beat.
