Grapple Dogs Cosmic Canines is out now!

Did you love spending time with Pablo, the star of the original Grapple Dog, back in 2022? Well, Pablo has now got a friend and with Luna in tow, it’s time to prove yourself as capable of handling the Cosmic Canines of the gorgeous Grapple Dogs!

The sequel to the rather brilliant Grapple Dog comes that of Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines. Out now from Medallion Games and Super Rare Originals, you’ll be able to play on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch.

A doggy duo

Taking on the role of the dynamic doggy duo, in Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines you’ll find more of what made the original game such a hit. With a fun little story kicking around in the background, expect to be treated to a gaming experience that brings action-packed stages, some challenging puzzles and a whole ton of intergalactic missions. Can you help Pablo and Luna blast and grapple their way through a host of dimensions in order to save the cosmos?

This time around, new ideas have been implemented. Pablo obviously comes complete with his trusty grapple hook, but Luna loves to focus more on the shooty-shooty side of things, working an inner gunslinger and a ton of weaponry.

You’ll want to make the most of all abilities and skills in Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines though, uncovering secrets, collecting hidden items and taking on various challenges as you go. And those challenges come to the fore in the addition of Time Trials, complementing the level-based story.

Key features

  • Pure platforming bliss – Fast-paced swinging action meets a whole host of fresh abilities, such as magnetic panels and fire-dashing, all coming together as a tight, fun platforming romp!
  • New worlds – Journey across dimensions in an epic quest to save… everything! Each unique world is bustling with vibrant, eye-catching pixel art and bubbling with personality!
  • Gameplay galore – Sail across the cosmos to explore multiple worlds filled with tons of levels. Hidden collectibles, secret areas, memorable boss battles, bonus levels, time trials, and more to sink those canines into
  • Exhilarating soundtrack – Jazz Mickle’s catchy, killer soundtrack will have Grapple Dogs’ beats stuck in your head forever, with level-by-level jams that are sure to get that tail waggin’!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
