Bandai Namco is expanding the Fractured Daydream universe with the release of its second DLC, The Devil’s Comeback, alongside a new Character Pass and a free demo for Nintendo Switch.
As we explored in our review of the base game, SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream offers a unique blend of single-player and online co-op action, with a focus on teamwork and challenging battles. Now, with this latest update, players can delve deeper into the game’s narrative and experience new characters and challenges.
A New Threat Emerges
The Devil’s Comeback DLC (included in the Character Pass Vol 1) introduces two new playable characters from Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online: M, a skilled sniper with a protective shield, and Pitohui, a battle-hungry veteran with a penchant for close-quarters combat.
These formidable fighters join Kirito and his allies as they investigate a series of player kills in a mysterious area of Galaxia.
