The Last Hero Journey to the Unknown
The Last Hero Journey to the Unknown – out now!

Prepare for a classic fantasy adventure in The Last Hero: Journey to the Unknown.

This is a new action title that has launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. In it, you’ll take on the role of a lone knight, armed with just a sword, a shield, and unwavering courage, on a quest to save a pixelated world from a powerful wizard’s reign of terror.

Voidgem, a wizard of immense power, has stolen the magical relics of the ancient world and unleashed an army of minions and monsters.

It’s up to you to embark on a perilous journey, explore over 30 diverse levels, collect powerful items, and face menacing bosses to restore balance to the realm.

A Classic Quest with Modern Twists

The Last Hero: Journey to the Unknown seems to be drawing inspiration from classic action-adventure games. You’ll explore a variety of biomes, each with its own unique enemies and challenges. The game features wave-based stages, forcing you to adapt your tactics and utilise special potions to survive.

But this isn’t just a simple hack-and-slash. You’ll also need to find and collect rare relics scattered throughout the world, and you’ll have access to unique elemental powers to aid you in combat.

Choosing the right elemental power for each biome will be key to success.

More Than Just Hack and Slash

There are plenty of key features kicking around in The Last Hero: Journey to the Unknown.

  • Explore the Map in different biomes with over 30 levels
  • Help our hero by facing unique enemies and bosses, special wave-based stages with challenging obstacles
  • Each level presents a series of challenges that you need to overcome, a sense of progress as you advance and face new challenges, adding excitement and variety to each wave
  • Find and collect rare relics
  • Use special potions that aid our hero in combat
  • Unique elemental powers, choose the one that suits each biome best

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
