Rhythm game fans, get ready to face a new set of bullet-hell-inspired beats as a fresh collection of tracks has arrived for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival.
They drop with the launch of the Touhou Project Arrangements Pack Vol. 2. This new downloadable content pack brings five more iconic songs from the beloved shoot-’em-up series to the Taiko stage on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Drum to These Touhou Project Arrangements
Priced at £5.99, this second volume of Touhou Project arrangements adds some of the series’ most famous and challenging fan-favourite tracks to your song library. These new additions are playable in game modes like Taiko Mode and the frantic Great Drum Toy War.

Expanding the Playlist of a Rhythmic Gem
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival continues to be a vibrant and engaging rhythm game, and this latest DLC adds another specific flavour for fans to enjoy. When we first visited Omiko City, we were thoroughly impressed. In our 4/5 scored review, we mentioned the base game’s value versus the subscription model:
“The base game of Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival includes a substantial selection of songs, but Bandai Namco also offers the Taiko Music Pass, a subscription service that grants access to a wider library of tracks with monthly updates. While dedicated fans might find this appealing, the subscription’s value is questionable for casual players… However, even without the Music Pass, Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is an excellent rhythm game for solo or multiplayer enjoyment. With a wide variety of songs, four difficulty levels, a training mode, and engaging multiplayer options, there’s something for everyone.“
