Envisage a world in which you have everything you could ever need, but there’s a sense of something about to go wrong that you can’t shake off and then all of a sudden, the whole world changes, unveiling what truly lies within – monsters and deadly traps. That’s World of One in a nutshell and it’s just launched on Xbox One.
In this quaint and dark platformer, you’ll embark upon a journey which sees the protagonist, Little Prince, getting navigated around small, planet-like levels filled with monsters that are out to kill and deadly traps waiting to lure him to his death. There are many levels and puzzles within, featuring multiple solutions, big boss fights and four different endings to seek out. To succeed in World of One, determination is just as important as being quick-witted and attentive.
It’s clear that World of One is ready to challenge your mind and skills, with completion of the game unlocking an even trickier task in the “New game+” mode, which gives you only 3 lives. Will you accept this challenge? If so, you can find it on the Xbox Store in the Creators Collection immediately for the rather low price of £2.49. Purchasing it enables you to play it on both Xbox One and Windows 10 via Xbox Play Anywhere.
We’ll have a review for you soon too.
