There are times when all we want to do is kick back and enjoy a relaxing little puzzler. Busway Islands on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch promises to be just that.
Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Busway Islands is the latest to come out of the QUByte Interactive publishing team. They’ve picked up the creation of Rising Moon Games to deliver an intricate little puzzler to the gaming worlds. And if you’re not on Xbox, then you can play on PlayStation or Nintendo Switch instead.
Road or rail?
It’s priced at a mere £4.19 on the Xbox Store, and that low asking price should give you some kind of idea as to what you are getting here. This is a game that will see you building road – and rail – lines, searching out across an archipelago in order to ensure the citizens in place can be transported without issue.
For us, it’s a bit like Mini Motorways, a game that we absolutely adore, albeit Busway Islands comes with an altogether different visual look.
35 levels await in Busway Islands, each looking to push your logical skills to the utter limit. But on the flip is a relaxing atmosphere, minimalistic visuals and a scene-setting soundtrack. It’ll be interesting to see how this makes the move from mouse to console controller, but QUByte are promising it has been carefully adapted to ensure an accessible experience for all.
