The introduction of TT Isle of Man to our consoles gave many bike racers out there the chance to play out many a fantasy. If you’re a two-wheeled racing fan then smashing your way through the tight streets of the Isle of Man TT is something many can only dream of, but now you can do it all with a friend in tow!
The free Sidecar Thrill DLC for TT Isle of Man lets you rediscover the solo or co-op mode with the addition of 3 new sidecars.
As you would expect, this will completely change the way that TT Isle of Man plays, delivering different physics and a change in the handling, as you go about controlling not just the bike rider, but the sidecar sitter too.
If you’re playing alone, this sees you taking charge of the rider with one stick, and the passenger with the other – unless you wish to let the AI take control of the latter. Failing that, grab a friend, throw them in the sidecar and coordinate your efforts in order to get round the track in the fastest time possible.
But there is more and the Sidecar Thrill DLC also brings in Xavier Denis of the Optimark team and two of his machines –Â the Kawasaki ZX10R in Superbike and the Honda CBR600RR in the Supersport category.
If you thought you were done with what TT Isle of Man had to offer, then you were wrong. For now, with the free addition of the Sidecard Thrill, the racing has changed completely.
Get yourself over to the Microsoft Store and nab your download now. You’ll obviously need the base game in order to experience it – make sure you read our review of that first – but should you already be set, then you have until the 26th June to get this download in for free. After that time it’ll be sent up to a £5.99 purchase.
DLC Description:
Rediscover the Isle of Man race in solo or co-op mode, with the addition of 3 sidecars. An experience that completely changes the gameplay through different physics and handling, with new and intense sensations of speed but still just as demanding! In solo mode, you control the rider with one stick and the passenger with another, or let the AI control the passenger. Ask a friend to join you in co-op mode and have both of you complete the race. Decide who will be the rider and who will be the passenger! Coordination is the key to success. The DLC also includes French rider Xavier Denis of the Optimark team, with his motorbikes: the Kawasaki ZX10R in Superbike and the Honda CBR600RR in the Supersport category.
