Rarely a week goes by when we don’t see a cheap and cheerful little gaming experience come out of the ChiliDog Interactive team. This week is no different as Richy’s Nightmare comes to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – and whilst we can’t promise it’ll be cheerful, it’s most certainly cheap.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Richy’s Nightmare is the latest title to emerge from the ChiliDog Interactive team – they previously behind the likes of Dr. Oil and Circus Pocus, amongst others.

This one comes in at a mere £4.19 asking price, whisking players off to follow the life of a little boy who is lost in the maze of magical woods. It’s up to him to survive – you know, like ALWAYS – as you help him navigate through the lands and puzzles.

A nightmarish experience – the clue is in the title – this dark fantasy world is one that may well draw you in, as you look to help little Richy make his escape.

What Richy’s Nightmare does promise though is that this is a game that will let you explore, searching for vital clues in order to aid progress. If you’re up for such a challenge and reckon you have what it takes to wander a land with survival at the fore, we’d point you to the Xbox Store so you can grab a copy of the game for yourself, playing it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

Stay tuned for a full review from us soon too.

Game Description:

Richy’s Nightmares is a unique kind of platforming experience. It tells a story of Richy, a little boy who got lost in the labyrinths of some dreaded magical woods. And now he has to do his best to survive through this journey. The forest is full of nightmares and lethal puzzles, and that is why Richy’s escape is going to be the challenge to remember. Here you’ll find immersive gameplay and dark fantasy setting bundled together. But be aware that you will not get your reward easily — this game is best suited for the players who prefer to explore the surroundings and find any kind of vital clues to ease the burden of this strong-spirited survival.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
